These terms govern your use of the Quant Strategy Lab (“QS Lab”) website and the early-access list. By using the site or joining the list, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

This site presents information about QS Lab and a forthcoming free course, Evidence-Based Investing for Everyone, and lets you join an early-access list to be notified when the course opens. The course is not yet open.

Educational purpose only — not investment advice

Everything on this site and in the course is provided for education. It is general information about investing methods and research, not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it does not take account of your personal circumstances. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or to follow any strategy.

Any performance figures we show come from historical testing (backtests), not from trading real money, unless we state otherwise. Tested or past results are no guarantee of future results. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Decisions you make are your own; consider seeking advice from a licensed professional before acting.

The early-access list

When you join, we email you to confirm your address and, later, to tell you when the course opens. You can unsubscribe at any time. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, submit other people’s information without their permission, or use it to send spam.

Our content

The text, design, and materials on this site belong to QS Lab or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may read and share links to them, but you may not copy or reuse them commercially without our permission.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and to the extent the law allows we exclude implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, QS Lab is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its educational content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms; the current version is always the one posted here, with the date above.
